As I expected connectivity has been a challenge in Mauritania so just a quick update to let you all know that I’m alive and well in Nouakchott, the capital.
We got here yesterday afternoon but the hotel Wifi is very poor, and I don’t yet have a SIM card – mind you those who do have SIM cards haven’t had much more luck staying connected either as we’ve been at some of our remotest camps yet.
I’m going to try and get the backlog of posts up over the course of the day, but I’ve got a few other jobs to do too, so they may not all get done.
