The Reader’s Digest Condensed version
- out of town on a pretty rough road
- thankfully no rain
- big climb up a dam
- following a pretty cool river valley
- lunch in a chilly but picturesque spot
- out of the gorge onto a new road still under construction
- chat with the design technology teacher who flagged me over
- helping the boys with their homework
- new camping spot beside a river
- tent up before the rain
- a wander round the nearby village
- the rain came down
- and it got cold so we went to bed early
The campsite photo is lovely – great colours.
Thanks – it didn’t feel that lovely at the time, it was about 6 degrees and windy 😉
The roadside flower is today’s favourite for me, because I think it must be Turkey’s answer to lupins!
It looked very much like that indeed, though there was only the one.
