I woke up on the second rest day in Freetown feeling terrible, with a headache, stomach cramps, runny bottom, and generally feeling like cr*p!
Thanks to my decision to stay in the bunkroom I was at least in an air conditioned room, with a clean toilet at hand, and in the end I skipped breakfast and slept on-and-off through till 1330!
As a consequence I didn’t get the last courple of blog posts of last week done, and I’ve been struggling with health and humidity this ‘week’. We have two more days till the next rest day when I’ll try and get caught back up again.
Here’s yesterday’s selfie of the day which was a pretty low point for me – you’ll find out more about it in coming days, but for now I’m on the mend.
Get well soon ? Dodgie bowels never a good look ! Hang in there. Hope the toilet paper isn’t too hard ?
Hang in there and get well soon!
Yah for air conditioning – good luck for the next two days & hope you get better soon
