Stage 65 route notes
We were back to 0500 breakfast this morning which meant it was still completely dark as we were getting up and getting organised – not my favourite way to start any day!
For the first 20km the road wasn’t too bad and it began to look like it was going to be a very quick day, particularly given the relatively short distance, but that idea soon went out the window as the conditions continued to deteriorate.
Nice coke stop, road improved, lunch at a rest area, bought the store out of ice cream, French couple joined us, military inspection late in the day.
