Steve's Cycling Blog

Still alive…

So the last few evenings I’ve not been feeling particularly motivated as far as blog writing (or frankly anything else for that matter) goes so I’m now a few days behind with keeping you all updated on progress.

We have another rest day tomorrow (I’ll explain soon) so plan to try and catch up then!

I was – three in a row, but it turns out it’s all to do with getting enough sleep, which unfortunately means not being able to be much of an adult and needing to go to bed while the sun is still shining (like any minute now)

Cheers Col – the smile was missing for a couple of days, but is back in place now…!

Hope all is well, keep up the good work. I have loved reading your updates, even though we have never met

Yes please. Highlight of a winter’s day in Christchurch to read your blog post Steve xx

    Keep pedalling 🙂

Hopefully you’ve now got four updates to make your way through, though I’ve been pretty brief in the details but you’ll get the idea – normal service will, mobile bandwidth permitting, return tomorrow.

Glad you’re still with us hang in there!!! You are amazing I can’t even comprehend cycling even one of your “regular” days. Live from the Browns

Thanks Simon – one of those ‘nothing in particular, everything in general, can’t be arsed with anything’ kind of feelings.

Today’s been pretty relaxing (in Karakol), and I’m going to upload photos but not much else for the ‘missing’ days so that I’m up-to-date and back on track for daily updates from tomorrow.

Hope you’re holding up ok Steve. You’ve done amazing so far but there are bound to be highs and lows on such an epic journey.

Looking forward to your rest day update. I’m living vicariously through you at the moment as I spend great stretches of each day on my arse in my living room, trapped under a sleeping/feeding machine.

Thanks for the encouragement Maggie 🙂 I think I might just be a bit physically run down so I’m taking it slow today and making the most of the beautiful terrace we have at the hotel to relax.

Hope everything with the sleeping/feeding machine is going well…!

All well with the machine. We get way more smiles and giggles than we do tears, so can’t complain. Watching lots of movies & box sets whilst trapped. We’re off for five days festivalling in the van on Wednesday… hopefully he proves to be a happy camper.

Glad to hear things are going well so far – best of luck with the camping 🙂
